Support before crisis · Access before overwhelm

About, Support & Contact

ANCHOR Arkansas is a public access system for autistic and neurodivergent people, families, professionals, and community partners. This page explains what the project is, how to ask for help, and where to send questions.

About ANCHOR

A statewide access and response system for neurodivergent support.

ANCHOR Arkansas stands for Autism & Neurodivergence Community Health, Outreach, and Response. The project is designed to make support easier to find before people are misunderstood, escalated, denied access, or pushed into crisis.

What ANCHOR does not do

×
Does not diagnose

ANCHOR tools can organize information, but they do not replace a licensed evaluation or medical opinion.

×
Does not decide benefits or school eligibility

ANCHOR can help prepare information for meetings, but it does not determine Medicaid, disability, IEP, 504, housing, or legal outcomes.

×
Does not function as police or crisis dispatch

For immediate danger, use emergency services. For mental health crisis support, use 988.

Support Center

Choose the closest reason you came here.

This page should reduce guessing. Pick a path, read the next steps, then use the contact form only when a direct message is needed.

Accessibility Requests

Ask for the format that works.

People should not have to prove overwhelm before information becomes readable. ANCHOR materials should be available in formats that support different communication, sensory, literacy, and language needs.

Aa

Plain language

Shorter sentences, direct headings, no legal-only wording, and printable summaries.

ES

Spanish

Spanish page copy, contact routing, public handouts, and voice support where available.

Low-overwhelm

Reduced motion, less visual density, clear next steps, and stop controls for read-aloud audio.

Contact

Send the message to the right place.

Use the form to prepare a clear message. The page will route the message topic, build an email draft, and let you save a copy for your records.

Do not submit private medical records, Social Security numbers, passwords, or emergency reports through a public contact form.
